Introduction
All right so today for today’s video we’re gonna be hacking a DSi this is just one that I got from many yards now they’re pretty cheap um we’re gonna be hacking it and installing a different firmware known as Unlaunch. So first what you’re going to want to do go to this website there will be a link in the description and this is going to be instructions on falling so I’ll have a link in the description for a zip file that will contain all the files you need

but depending on your firmware version onto yes you may need to download a different version of that’s a while in which case you can go to the website description and to you now first things first we got to get the SD card insert so and get the SD card ready so and open the files app you can do this on any computer by the way click on SD card and format it so make sure that this SD card doesn’t have anything important on it because if it does it will erase the stuff completely so what you’re going to want to do is make sure that this the file system is turned on to fat32 so 532 because if you do it any other one like an NTFS or X the exFAT it won’t work properly so we need fat32 go ahead and just click start format it quick there we go so now the SD card is ready so now what we need to do is we need to creating certain directory on the SD card so go ahead and pull it hold the SD card out of your computer and I’m just using a micro SD with the adapter gonna wanna put it in on the SD card slot just plug it in like that power on the DS and then once it is there go ahead and click on the camera application [Music] wait for it to load [Music] there we go so now now I’m going to work click on the SD card tab and click camera just click start and then go ahead and just click take a picture doesn’t matter of what just take a picture and then click quick and go ahead and take the SD card out and then you can be done with the DSi for now now take your SD card plug it back into your computer go ahead and open it up and now you will notice that there is a directory called private click on private opened es open app and click on this one it’s going to be a random number but this is the data for your your camera app so you open this and you’re going to see a file called pit dot pin so what you’re going to do is click on it and click delete delete this then take the pitch off in from the file but I in the description this will be your pit file go ahead and just drag it and drop it in there and there you go now the exploit was installed but the X point won’t work if we put if we don’t put this file boot nds inside there now this is the application that allows you to run any Nintendo DS file offer to your SD card then we’re going to bring the unlaunchable organ there as well and then your SD card is ready so now we’re going to do is checked the SD card just so we don’t corrupt anything used to do that [Music] gentle there isn’t all right I’ll plug it now bring it back to your DSi and plug it in [Music] okay so now oh there we go there we go it’s working so now what we do is we open the camera application again [Music] and this yes I am might die just to let you know and there we go now we just click SD card and it will check the SD card make sure that it’s a valid and since we have that exploit installed at will and then we click album and now that’s where it front the exploit so there we go so you just take it down to unbunch now this will this application right here will allow you to run any NDS file off of your SD card but right now we’re gonna run the unlocking Staller it’s probably reversed because of the camera so whatever just click hey and there we go now the unlaunchable is loaded up and now we can just scroll down until it says install now click and there you go now it will install and so go back and when you reboot your computer after it’s done and not computer when you reboot your es from the si [Music] power it back on and now your unlaunchable is installed and this will allow you to do a bunch of things such as Wi-Fi boot automatically run application that applications at startup and use a few applications that are region-locked so there you have it so anyway thanks for watching this tutorial with me let me know in the comments if it worked if you have any problems just comment below and I’ll try to answer them
